Running Sparkbooth Offline
Can I run Sparkbooth without an internet connection?
Yes, you can run Sparkbooth without an internet connection. However, you won't be able to use any of the photo upload services. Photos are always saved to the hard drive, regardless of the selected output option.
When is an internet connection required?
- Initial Setup: When running the application for the first time to download a trial license.
- Activation: If you need to activate the application.
- License Validation: Sparkbooth periodically requires an internet connection to validate the license. You will receive warnings and be allowed to run Sparkbooth a few times before a license check is required. If you plan to run Sparkbooth offline for an extended period, we recommend starting Sparkbooth while online to validate the license.
- Updates: After updating Sparkbooth to a new version, it will require an internet connection immediately to verify the license. Once verified, it will not require an internet connection.
- Photo Uploading/Sharing: Using any of the photo uploading/sharing features requires an internet connection. However, you can enable the "Send Photo Later" queue and upload the photos later when you have an internet connection.
