Save Folders Options
Layout Photos folder is where the rendered photo layouts are saved. These layouts are the final composite images created by Sparkbooth. Within this folder you will also find additional folders for:
- gifs: Stores animated GIF photos generated from the individual photos.
- gifsingles: Contains each frame of the animated GIFs.
- processed: Holds individual photos that have been processed with background removal services.
- print: Contains the full print image for strip photo layouts.
- Individual Photos folder stores each photo used in the photo layout. This can include photos with any applied overlays, photo effects, and backgrounds from green screen processes.
- Camera Photos refers to the unprocessed photos directly from the camera, before any effects or layouts are applied.
- The Create new sub-folder per day (yyyy_mm_dd) when enabled, this option will create a new sub-folder based on the date (in the format yyyy_mm_dd) to organize photos by the day they were taken. This allows separation of the photos by date. The "Create Subfolder" options allow you to define when the software will create a new sub-folder based on the current date.
- Startup Only: When this option is selected, a new sub-folder will be created based on the current date only when the software starts up. This means that the folder structure will only update when the software is launched, ensuring that all photos taken during that session are saved in the corresponding date folder.
- Hours After Midnight: This option allows you to specify a number of hours after midnight to create a new sub-folder. For instance, if you enter "0," a new sub-folder will be created exactly at midnight, starting a new day’s folder. If you enter "2," the new sub-folder will be created at 2:00 AM. This option is useful if your events run past midnight and you want to ensure that all photos taken before a certain hour are grouped in the previous day's folder.
