Speeding Up Photo Capture in Sparkbooth DSLR

Speeding Up Photo Capture in Sparkbooth DSLR

To speed up the time it takes to capture a photo in Sparkbooth DSLR, you can adjust a few settings:

  1. Set the Camera to Manual Mode and Focus:
  • Using auto focus can take time to set the focus before taking a photo. Setting the camera to manual mode and focus is recommended.
  • Here is a tutorial on how to set up the camera for manual mode and focus.
  1. Disable "Using External Flash / Auto Focus":
  • This setting turns off live view on the camera before taking a photo. Some camera models cannot take photos while live view is running.
  • Disabling this setting also helps when using an external flash or auto focus. Ensure your camera can still take photos with this setting disabled.

  1. Disable "Brighten Live View":
  • This setting changes the shutter speed to brighten the live view. If you do not need this, disable the setting. Note that this setting only applies to Canon cameras; Nikon cameras do not have this setting.
  1. Reduce "Error Delay"
  • Within the Camera Settings dialog and Advanced Settings, consider decreasing the Error Delay setting. This configuration parameter delays the transmission of the subsequent camera command when the camera encounters an error or is not ready.
