Enabling DSLR Live View
To enable live view in Sparkbooth DSLR, follow these steps:
- Ensure Camera Connection: Make sure the camera is able to connect to the computer.
- Open Camera Settings:
- Press
Ctrl-3
to open the Sparkbooth DSLR camera settings. Ensure that "DSLR Camera" is selected.
- Enable Live View on the Camera:
Check the settings menu on the camera to ensure live view is enabled.
- Close Camera Utilities:
- If you have a camera utility installed, such as EOS Utility, ensure it is not running before starting Sparkbooth.
- Disable the option in the EOS Utility to automatically open when a camera is connected.
- Troubleshoot Live View:
- If Live View is still not visible, use the EOS Utility for Canon or Camera Control Pro for Nikon cameras to verify Live View is working with your camera.
- If the utility cannot connect or display Live View, there might be an issue with your camera, USB cable, or USB port. Contact the camera manufacturer's tech support for assistance.
- Adjust Camera Settings:
- If the Live View image is dark or black, adjust your camera settings.
- Ensure that the "Brighten Live View" option is enabled and the camera's shutter speed is correctly set.
