Set Up Counter Notifications
The notification feature allows you to receive email or text notifications when a counter, such as the number of prints or sessions, reaches a specified target. For example, you can set it up to notify you when a specific number of prints (e.g., 50) have been made. You can choose to receive either email or text notifications. The software can send these when specific events occur, such as reaching a certain number of prints, sessions, or uploads.
Note: The photo booth must be connected to the internet for notifications to be sent.
How do I set up an email notification for counters?
Go to the Counters menu in the settings.
- Select which counter you want to monitor (e.g., Prints, Uploads, Sessions).
- Set the target number for the counter (e.g., 50 prints).
- For the counter action, select Notification
Next, navigate to the Notifications section in the settings.
- Select the service to use for sending the notifications which can be either by email or text.
- Once logged in, enter your desired email address or mobile number.
- Press the Test button to verify that notifications are being sent.
- When the counter reaches the target, a notification will be sent to the specified email address or mobile number.
How do I identify which photo booth the notification is coming from if I’m managing multiple booths?
You can name your photo booth in the Booth Name field located in the Photo Album section. This name will appear in the email notification, helping you easily identify which booth triggered the notification.
Can I reset a counter once I’ve been notified?
Yes, each counter has a Reset button. Once your target is reached and a notification is sent, you can reset the counter to track new events.
How do I specify the counter targets?
- In the Counters section, locate the desired counter (e.g., "Prints").
- Enter the target number (e.g., "50 prints") in the provided field.
- The software will keep track of the count and notify you when the target is met.
Can I use multiple counters at the same time?
Yes, you can track different counters simultaneously, such as prints, uploads, and sessions. You can set individual targets and receive notifications for each counter.
By using these steps, you can ensure that you're notified as soon as your photo booth reaches the specified counter targets, keeping you informed about your booth's performance.
