Send Photos to Mobile Devices Using "Send Photo Later" Queue
Many event venues may not have stable or fast internet, making it difficult to send photos to guests in real-time. Sparkbooth offers a feature called "Send Photo Later" to address this challenge. This feature allows you to collect mobile numbers during the event and send the photos to guests later, once you have access to good internet. Here's how to set it up:
Before the Event Setup
- Go to Settings:
- In the main Sparkbooth interface, navigate to
Settings
>Photo Booth
>Send to Guests
- In the main Sparkbooth interface, navigate to
- Enable Guest Photo Sharing:
- In the
Send to Guests
section, check the boxes to allow guests to send photos via email or mobile. - Ensure the
Mobile
option is enabled.
- In the
- Select "Send Photo Later" for Mobile:
- Under the
Mobile
sharing option, select Send Photo Later. This will allow guests to enter their phone numbers, which will be stored in a queue for sending photos after the event when internet access is stable.
- Under the
- Form for Guest Mobile Numbers:
- Once "Send Photo Later" is enabled, Sparkbooth will display a form during the event, prompting guests to input their mobile phone numbers for later delivery of their photos.
After the Event (When You Have a Stable Internet Connection)
- Open Send Photo Later Queue:
- Go to
Settings
>Send Photo Later
. Here, you will see a list of queued photos along with the associated mobile numbers that guests entered during the event.
- Go to
- Select a Mobile Service:
- In the Send Photo Later queue interface, choose the mobile service you'd like to use to send the photos. Sparkbooth integrates with various services, such as Twilio.
- Configure the Mobile Service:
- Click the
Configure
button next to the mobile service dropdown. You will need to sign in and set up your selected service (e.g., entering Twilio credentials if using Twilio).
- Click the
- Send the Photos:
- Once your mobile service is configured, click the Send Photos button. This will send the photos in the queue to each mobile number using the selected service.
Example Usage
This setup is particularly useful for event organizers or photo booth operators working in locations with poor or no internet connection. Instead of struggling with unreliable service, you can gather mobile numbers at the event and send the photos at your convenience when you have access to a reliable connection.
With this system in place, you can ensure that guests still receive their photos, enhancing the overall event experience.
