Text Messaging for Photos
A DSLR or Premium license is required to use this feature. You can either send the photo (MMS) or a text message with the download link to the photo (SMS). This feature requires a Twilio, Vivial Connect, Vonage, or Telnyx account.
Note: You will not be able to send texts until your account is verified by the service provider (Twilio, Vivial Connect, etc.) due to A2P 10DLC regulation.

Using Twilio
Twilio is a paid service. Check Twilio's pricing.
- Sign up for a Twilio account and purchase a telephone number or short code from Twilio.
Sign in to your Twilio account and copy your account SID and Auth Token.
- Open Sparkbooth, go to Settings, then Photo Booth, GIF Booth, or Mirror Booth, and select Send To Guest.
- Enable Send to Guest.
- Enable Mobile and select Twilio.
Enter your Twilio SID and Token, and press the Login button.
Select the Twilio telephone number or shortcode you want to use.
- Adjust the telephone number mask for your country. Include the country code and use # as the number placeholder. For example, in the US, use 1-555-###-####. You can disable the mask by unchecking the checkbox.
- If you have a picture-capable telephone number or shortcode, you can send the photo instead of a link.
- Change the caption to include text with the photo or link.
- Change the "Upload to" service for hosting the photo upload.
Test the setup by pressing the Test button.
Using Vivial Connect
Vivial Connect is a paid service. Check Vivial Connect's pricing.
- Open Sparkbooth, go to Settings, then Photo Booth, GIF Booth, or Mirror Booth, and select Send To Guest.
- Enable Send to Guest.
- Enable Mobile and select Vivial Connect. Determine if the settings require an Access Token or API Key and Secret.
- Sign up for a Vivial Connect account.
- Sign in to your Vivial Connect account and go to Numbers to purchase a telephone number.
- Create an Access Token or API Key and Secret:
- For Access Token: Click Access Tokens, then New Tokens, select Messages and Numbers for Token Scope, and create the token.
- For API Key and Secret: Click API Keys, then New API Key, copy the values, and save.
- Enter your Vivial Connect Account ID, Access Token or API Key and Secret in Sparkbooth, and press the Login button.
Select whether to use SMS or MMS service, and choose the telephone number.
- Adjust the telephone number mask for your country.
- Change the caption to include text with the photo or link.
- Change the "Upload to" service for hosting the photo upload if using SMS.
- Test the setup by pressing the Test button.
Using Vonage
Vonage is a paid service. Check Vonage's pricing.
- Sign up for a Vonage account and purchase a telephone number or short code.
Sign in to your Vonage account and copy your API credentials key and secret.
- Open Sparkbooth, go to Settings, then Photo Booth, GIF Booth, or Mirror Booth, and select Send To Guest.
- Enable Send to Guest.
- Enable Mobile and select Vonage.
Enter your Vonage Key and Secret, and press the Login button.
Select the telephone number or shortcode you want to use.
- Adjust the telephone number mask for your country.

- Change the caption to include text with the photo or link.
- Change the "Upload to" service for hosting the photo upload.
- Test the setup by pressing the Test button.
Using Telnyx
Telnyx is a paid service. Check Telnyx's pricing.
- Sign up for a Telnyx account.
- Sign in to your Telnyx account and go to Numbers to purchase a telephone number.
Click the Messaging icon for your telephone number to create a messaging profile.
Create and assign a new messaging profile.
Click the Auth menu item, select the Auth V2 tab, and create an API Key. Copy the API Key.
- Open Sparkbooth, go to Settings, then Photo Booth, GIF Booth, or Mirror Booth, and select Send To Guest.
- Enable Send to Guest.
- Enable Mobile and select Telnyx.
Enter the API Key and press the Login button.
Select whether to use SMS or MMS service, and choose the telephone number.
- Adjust the telephone number mask for your country.
- Change the caption to include text with the photo or link.
- Change the "Upload to" service for hosting the photo upload if using SMS.
- Test the setup by pressing the Test button.
